ISU announces Martyn Hindley as new Head of Corporate Communications & PR

The International Skating Union (ISU) is delighted to announce the appointment of Martyn Hindley as its new Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, marking an important step in the organization’s ambition to further strengthen a more integrated, open, and interactive communications approach across all disciplines, platforms and stakeholder groups.

In his new role, Martyn will lead the ISU’s global communications/PR strategy with the objective to explore new media relations opportunities and delivering engaging, innovative storytelling around its sports, athletes, leadership and governance. Working closely and transversally with both internal and external stakeholders, he will help showcase the ongoing implementation of ISU Vision 2030 – the strategic roadmap that has already driven a series of groundbreaking changes in how ice-skating sports are experienced, presented, and covered worldwide.
A former journalist and broadcaster, Martyn brings two decades of experience in international sports communications. His career includes senior roles at UEFA, European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) and FIFA, where he worked across corporate communications, media relations and operations, editorial content production, public affairs, and communications strategy.
Martyn’s appointment underscores the ISU’s continued transformation toward a modern, dynamic, and forward-looking organization, committed to innovation, transparency, and sustainable development across all ice-skating sports.
