The new 2026/27 skating season is just around the corner! Whether skaters are preparing for their first international season or their tenth, taking a few minutes now to refresh Clean Sport and Anti-Doping knowledge can help stay informed, confident, and ready to compete.

The International Testing Agency (ITA) has published its Pre-Season Clean Sport Newsletter, packed with practical information every skater and their entourage should know and covering the following topics: 

Your pre-season Clean Sport checklist

  • Check your medications: Make sure anything you take is permitted in sport and know where to check its status. Check out the WADA Prohibited List directly here. 
  • Understand TUEs: Find out what to do if you need a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
  • Be smart about supplements: Learn about the risks and make informed choices before taking any supplement.
  • Know your whereabouts responsibilities: Make sure you understand what to do if you are required to provide whereabouts information.
