The ISU is supporting the Safeguarding Young European Skaters (SAYES) Conference in Budapest (HUN)

On September 19th 2023, the International Skating Union (ISU) will be participating in the Safeguarding Young European Skaters (SAYES) Conference. This Conference is part of an Erasmus+ co-funded project that aims at protecting young athletes from sexist and sexual harassment in ice skating sports.
Along with ISU Members from France (Fédération française des Sports de Glace), Hungary (Hungarian National Skating Federation – HNSF) and the Netherlands (KNSB), other partners of this project are the French University “Claude Bernard Lyon 1”, the French child protection organization “Colosse aux pieds d’argile” as well as the major European Think tank “Sport and Citizenship”.

The ISU is proud to take part in this event, which fully aligns with its ISU Athlete Safeguarding Policy dedicated to create and sustain safe environments for Skaters and all those involved in the ice skating world.
The Conference will be hosted right before the start of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating event in Budapest (HUN) taking place on September 20-23, 2023.
All participants in the ISU Junior Grand Prix competition are invited to attend the SAYES Conference:
